About Us
MAHWAH PRIDE COALITION
The non-profit Mahwah Pride Coalition is a diverse group of Mahwah residents who are committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Mahwah. We are both community members and allies. We are working in conjunction with the Bergen County LGBTQ+ Alliance (the operating name of ARAWAKAN, Inc., a tax deductible 501-C3 corporation registered in NJ).
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To celebrate the contributions of our LGBTQ+ community
- To raise awareness for diversity and promote inclusion within Mahwah
- To provide education to our overall community
- To help make our youth more welcomed and at home in their hometown
- To offer a a fun, inclusive Pride event to encourage broad community participation
